Install instructions

If you don’t want to make a chapbook, download AutumnHearth-chapbook.pdf, (or AutumnHearth-accessible.pdf for a text-only version without graphics or layout). Open in your favorite PDF reader and (hopefully) enjoy!

To make your own chapbook, you’ll need a printer, scissors, five sheets of 8.5”x11”paper, and a stapler. Download AutumnHearth-chapbook.pdf and print it on double-side pages. (Tip: if your printer doesn’t support double-sided printing, print the even pages, reverse their order, load them back into the printer, and print the odd pages - but try a test page first so you know which way is up!)

1. Cut and fold the five sheets

Cut into top and bottom halves, and fold each of the 10 resulting half-sheets

2. Assemble the 10 sheets following this pattern (working from the front/back covers toward the middle)

Assemble the sheets working from the front/back covers toward the middle

3. Staple the spine (Tip, if your stapler doesn’t have a deep enough throat, try gently bending one side over)

Use staples in the spine, bending the chapbook to fit into the stapler if necessary

4. Read and (hopefully) enjoy!
